The Cucuteni-Trypillians made these female figurines from scrathch, with their bare hands.
Making use of all of the resources and time they had in order to make these terracotta female figures is truly impressive.

If I were to put myself in their place, I would have dedicated myself to creating when driven by intense feelings, of love, sadness, grief, hope. They are said to be ritualistic objects, tokens of protection, repesentations of deities.
Even so, I believe that only the most powerful of emotions and feelings could have been embodied in their creations.
