Passion, being involved in the process of creation, in the way one chooses to spend their days or the way people express their love, is a form of escaping time, space and crossing all the borders that humans tend to adopt. 

The desire for creating art, the ability to transform an idea into its embodiment are strongly associated, in my mind, with the vitality and pure joy that the sun represents. 

Creation has been symbolically associated with light since very long ago. Plato's "Allegory of the Cave" is just one of the examples that gaining knowledge comes along with getting out of the comfort zone, out of ignorance. 

This ring represents a reminder to continue to experiment, to imagine, to break the boundaries of reality.
